ANIL VOUMIK

He was born in 1932 in Chittagung Bangaldesh.He spent his childhood at Jamalpur(Mymensingha).Left the country at the time of communal riot in 1950 and took shelter in Westbengal as
 refugee.After that he got service under Goverment Of India.But still remained determined to pursue his
career as a writer.Then he resigned and took a job as a teacher in Kasba.He has written sevarel Novels
 Short stories and drama both for adult and children.The Bell of Gold is his first book transleted from bengali
  to english in 2006.
