ANISH DEB

 A leading writer of detective fictions, Anis Deb is a science teacher (Professor) of repute with Calcutta University. Winner of two gold medals and one silver medal from the University he obtained his degrees (M.Tch and Ph.D.) in applied physics and started his career as a lecturer. He appeared in the arena of writing of detective stories at the age of seventeen. He also writes to popularize science. He has several novels and collection of detective short stories to his credit. He has edited a number of collections of popular science writings, science fictions, detective stories. Awards Prachin Kalakendra Puraskar, Dr. Jnan Chandra Ghosh Puraskar, Two Gold Medals and a Silver Medal from Calcutta University.
